HSSS GRAND PLAN TO EXPAND

In 2021 we started a Capital Campaign Fund for our “Grand Plan to Expand”. Largely through private donations, we reached our goal of 450K. Because of this generosity, we completed phase I - an additional wing to the museum, a climate-controlled basement for archival storage, and a climate-controlled office, which also houses archival materials and provides research space for the public.

We are now working on Phase II. It will provide a handicap accessible bathroom behind the gift shop, update the HVAC system in the Homestead, and replace the Homestead bathroom with an authentic period buttery (another word for pantry). Would you please consider making a donation to Phase II?
